I recently replaced the black ink cartridge on my Pixma MG6320. It printed fine a few times. However, the other day when I went to print something, it will no longer print because it doesn't recognize the ink tank. The light is off. It gives me error code 1660. When I switch it with a different color, just to check, then it lights up, but when I use the black in a different spot, the light won't come on. So it appears to be the cartridge, even though it is brand new. I don't have a vehicle to drive it to the nearest authorized Canon facility 1.5 hours away. Is there some reason that a brand new ink cartridge will stop working? and does anyone know how I can fix it?
