canon ip8720 printing an orange/red background

my ip8720 is printing an orange/reddish background where there should be a grey background. I have updated the printer drivers, and replaced the ink. What else could it be??

Have you run a nozzle check?

Glad you got that resolved. It is pretty much impossible to diagnose/resolve a printing problem until it can be known that all the inks are printing.
