canon 5320 stopped with no power. Tried new outlet, checked the cord, unplugged and replugged with on button depressed. No results. Not often used, so am disappointed with suggestions that printer is toast. Must be better answer

Hi, bskaar!
So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which printer you're using, as we have two printers that use the number 5320. Are you using the PIXMA MG5320 or the MAXIFY MB5320? That information along with any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email at http://bit.ly/EmailCanon or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 10 AM and 10 PM ET (7 AM to 7 PM PT).
Thanks and have a great day!

Hi bskaar,
If you have the unit plugged into a surge protector that is plugged into a power outlet, please plug the unit directly into a power outlet to see if this will power the unit back on. Please also try an outlet in another room of the house. If the printer still does not power on, it will require servicing. Please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page to obtain your servicing options.
