own a MP630 since 2009 without any problem. Now CANNOT scan. Error message: ScanGear 'Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconntect or scanner may be turned off. Check Status. Scanner driver will be closed.' my pc is Window 7. I can print without problem. When I tried to uninstall it (I thought I uninstall and then reinstall the drivers from cd) it gave an error message to say the usb cable still connected despite I already disconnected the two! Can you help please?
