I have tried to register my new printer and it won't recognize the serial number. I can't find any way to reach out to support to get help with this. Below is the message I get when I try to register.

The serial number you have entered is invalid for one or more of the following reasons:

1) The serial number does not match the product you have selected (FCC ID which starts with "AZD" is often mistaken for serial number.)
2) The serial number entered indicates this product was not intended for sale in the United States and is ineligible for registration and support in the U.S.

Hi, gtrichards18! Based on the bit of your serial number we can see, your printer was intended for sale in Canada, so if you're trying to register it with Canon USA, it won't accept the serial number. If you actually live in Canada, we recommend registering your printer with our colleagues at Canon Canada. Otherwise, if you live in the United States, you'll want to contact your vendor to see how they might be able to help you out.

I don't live in Canada, but I bought it directly from the Canon Store on Amazon. I will try to reach out to them through Amazon and see what happens. Unless you have a better solution for me.
