Why won't my canon mg2950 printer print any documents but will print photos?

Only bought the canon mg2950 2 days ago.

just set it up to be able to print off my iPad and it won't let me print any documents that I have made on the Microsoft word app.

yet for some reason it will allow me to print photos off my camera roll, so I know the printer is all set up and 'synced' with my iPad.

i just want to know how to get it to print documents?

Assuming this model has the same features/limitations as the US model MG2920 ...

The Canon PRINT app (which should be how you are printing) only supports photos in .jpg format, and documents in .pdf format. I doubt that MS Word is saving docs as PDFs, and that is why you are unable to print  ... again, assuming it's the same as the US MG2920
