Tips for when switching malfunctioning PIXMA iP6000D for new one

Jane_B

I have been using a PIXMA iP6000D on a Windows 7 PRO 64 bit computer.  It has now malfunctioned and I am intending to put one on that is new (no I didn't just find a place to buy one it has been stored from when I got an exceptional price but had to take 2!).  Any one with tips for the smoothest switch?

I don't think it will hardly be any trouble just switching the 2.  I do anticipate may be having to set up wifi on it if it has that.

I don't know off-hand if the software will sense a different serial # and then make you go thru setup again.  That's probably the worse case scenario.
