Troubleshooting my printer fresh out the box. Set up the printer on my network through the app. Printed the test page no problem. Now I want to print a pdf on transparent paper 11x17 and the printer takes paper, then spits out the paper without printing. I have no idea what it could be anyone had this issue?
im using Canon ix6820

Can you be more specific on what the "transparent paper" is?
What is the printer?

Hey thanks for the reply. I was printing on transparent film for a screen. It took me a while but I was able to print when I chose the “tabloid” options in the settings.

You still didn't say what the printer is.
In the "old days" laser printers had an optical sensor that detected paper because of the opacity. These printers needed transparency sheets that had an opaque white strip along the leading edge, which blocked the sensing beam and told the printer there was paper going through.
I don't know what printers still require this.
