Using Mac OS Catalina 10

The printer will print out some images from an email but nothing black.
Brand new out of the box, brand new cartridges, did nozzle check yet NOTHING. It did print out a picture on 4x6 photo paper but nothing that I need to print.
Don't get me started on scanning, it just loops and loops.
It's connected to my network and literal sounds like it's printing. (I see where you might ask, yes ink cartridges are installed correctly as I said the ink test worked but only printed light black and blue. then magically there's no way to adjust.
INCREDIBLLY FRUSTRATING WHEN I TRY AND CALL for help I get directed to the website which has NOTHING.
