TS6220 stuck on CANON logo screen

zacprinter

Hi,

I have just got a printer (TS6220) from someone (sold to me!) and as soon as I plug it in I see Canon logo and that is it and it would stay like this for at least 30minutes without doing anything. I have tried resetting and pushing buttons all over but nothing worked. please help if any one know how to fix it. And yeah I think this guy sold it cheap and did not tell me that it has this problem or maybe did not know himself, of course ignored my messages

This might work:

When you have it unplugged try pressing the power on button a few times. Sometimes that helps by draining any stored charge

The printer is likely bricked.  I'd return and get my money back.

Yeah we agreed to return it. From my research last night all over the internet considering I am actually a semiconductor engineer and I know troubleshooting I am frozen solid in front of this printer, this printer will not respond to any troubleshooting at all to any pushing buttons to any resets to anything. I just feel that it is a nasty trick from Canon to buy the next one. I have seen too many questions about the same issue with no result.
