I put in new cartridges TWICE and after only printing a few pages, the ink levels show empty on all except the large cartridge which does show levels dropping fast. Can I fix this or should I pull an Office Space on it???

Just another thought - is it still under warranty? I had the same thing happen once with a new printer I never got one print from (though in that case it just couldn't recognise the correct cartridges). My contract being with the supplier, so was the remedy.
It turned out I'd been unlucky enough to get a faulty printer. I described the problem to my supplier (contracts being with them) and it was a case for a refund - but excluding the very expensive official ink cartridges I'd bought; one set added to the printer purchase and another set thinking the first one(s) must be faulty (could have bought another printer for that). So I wouldn't spend any more on supplies until you know what the score is!
