This reeks of some kind of planned obsolescence or print-count-cap BS, but my TS302 has just magically stopped working. It is blinking 5 times indicating some kind of FINE cartridge error, which is odd considering it was printing fine 30 seconds prior...
What I've tried:
1 - Unplugging the printer and holding down the power button to drain any capacitors. This does seem to reset it, but it turns on, makes printer sounds, sends an empty sheet through the machine and then goes right back into blinking.
2 - Uninstalling/Removing the printer and reinstalling drivers, no use.
3 - Taking the cartridges out, wiping them clean, letting them dry and putting them back in.
4 - Nearly any combination of button press/holds on the machine but the blinking seems to lock me out of any button that isn't the power button.
***I'm at a loss and would appreciate any help. For the record this thing was actually printing, perfectly fine, plenty of ink, 30 seconds prior to this error.

Update
Since Canon and (Stephen) aren't even going to attempt to offer support I just want to update this for future google searchers.
I replaced the ink cartridges and reset the printer and it's working now. I don't know why it fixed it, but it did.

1 - No error messages on my PC.
2 - Windows 11
3 - Wi-fi
4 - I had the most current software, but as I said in my post, part of troubleshooting was removing and trying to redownload drivers
Yet somehow none of your questions to "assist me better" actually addressed the Maintenance code issue. I'll get the ball rolling: this is a list of blinking error codes and their associated issues per Canon https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART169185
Mine is listed as:
I would really appreciate some help in understanding how the troubleshoot and possibly fix errors associated with 5 FLASHES.
As previously stated, I've tried cleaning the electrical connectors on both cartridges with both Isopropyl Alcohol and with Water but no luck. Also of note, the Printer had printed a page just fine less then a minute before the blinking started.
