We have a NEW Pixima TR8520, its on the network and its constantly going offline. It is a fall back printer but is used several times a week. We go thru hell trying to print to it. The machine its most problematic with is a Vista 64 based windows pc which we use. The printer is fully comaptible with Vista says so on the website and talking to Office Max where it was purchased. Network signal has not showed lower than 24% where it sits. Its replaced a HP that never had this issue. What is going on. We need it to work from the Vista PC most of all as thats what its the fallback for.

Greetings,
Not sure what website you are looking at but this is from the product support page on Canon's website.
Windows Vista is not supported.
Microsoft stopped supporting Vista in April of 2012.
