TR7020a will not print . . .

My TR7020a will not print or copy. This started yesterday when I tried to print a 48-page document. It runs through the steps and when finished there is nothing on the paper although it tells me that whatever I've tried to do was completed. In the utilities I have checked the ink levels (ok), tried to clean the nozzles (ok), tried to align the print heads (ok). IOW, nothing. It won't print or copy a document. I have updated the drivers (no change in performance). Here's the kicker. Yesterday it put a msg on my computer screen that I was trying to print/copy with used cartridges. I saw that msg once and never again. I tried the ink levels and was shown the graph with near to complete ink levels.

UGH /my bad? Is there anything else to try?

Hi reese54,

Please load plain paper into your PIXMA TR7020a and then follow these steps:

1.  Please turn your PIXMA TR7020a on.

2.  Press the OK button on your printer.

3.  Use the down arrow to select Maintenance and press OK.

4.  Press OK on Nozzle check

5.  Then select Yes and press OK.

A test page will print.

Please scan or take a photo of the test page that you just printed and then please attach it to your reply of this post.

You may also follow the steps in the manual:
