TR4722 won't print suddenly


Suddenly, after a windows update last week, my printer keeps giving the error: "A file required by the Canon IJ Status Monitor is missing, or a different version exists. If restarting the computer does not correct problem, reinstall the printer driver.  I have restarted the computer and reinstalled the driver (twice) to no avail.  Still getting the error.  A test print is also erroring: "Error printing on Canon TR4722 series HTTP  The printer coudn't print Test Page"

I can assist you with this issue but would need a little more information:

Are you using Windows 10? Or are you using Windows 11?

Are you using your PIXMA TR4722 wirelessly?  Or are you using it with a USB cable?
