TR4720 ink cartridges stuck on far left side

Moved printer to a different room; when I turn it on cartridges now make a clicking sound as they try unsuccessfully to advance from left side to center. Error code 5100 but there is no paper jam that I can see.

Hi,

Please unplug the power cord on your printer and then if possible, try to move the inks over so you can fully access them. If you are able to access the inks after that, remove and reinsert the inks making sure they lock in. If the issue persists, the printer will require service.

 If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.
