Scanning Issue

I'm attempting to scan a document on a Canon MX410 printer and transfer the document to my macbook pro, but the set up process is not cooperating. I can't seem to get past the "PC scan standby" page.

Hi hsage16,

 

In order to scan from the operation panel of the printer, you will need to have the MP Navigator scanning program installed on your Mac.  This program can be downloaded from the Canon USA website here from the SOFTWARE section.  

 

Should you continue to experience difficulty after installing the program, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative at one of the methods provided here for further assistance.  A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.
