Save scan to iMac

I cannot figure out how to transfer a scanned pdf to my iMac. There is no SAVE button on the computer or the scanner software

Welcome to the Canon Forum!  So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know what model printer or scanner you are using and Computer Operating System. (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x)

I am using a MG5220 printer and an iMac running OS 10.9.5

I know the piece has scanned, but I cannot figure out how to save it as a pdf or a jpg to my iMac

There seems to be no SAVE option on either the printer or the computer software
