When I try to scan, using Canon IJ scan utility (regardless of choosing Auto, Document or Picture), the scanning does not start, and a message saying
"The printer is in use, or an error has ocurred. Please control status. The scanner driver is closed. Error code 2,140,3"
I have switched the TS6251 on and off, I have switched the PC (running Windows 10) to which the TS6251 is attached via WiFi on and off. I hav ealso removed the TS6251 from the PC attached units and reinstalled the TS6251 software /drivers.
All this without luck. Any ideas, anyone??
It seems to me that there must be some software/program that seems to run. I have looked at the programs/apps that are active by using Cntrl/Alt/Del, but I cannot see anything that to me seems wrong.
