Resetting paper & toner settings

My MF4360-4390 all-in-one keeps telling me to reset paper & toner settings. I verified paper settings and I've replaced the toner cartridge. Error message still stopping any operation of the unit. Now what?

Hi Howard M.
Normally, the "Set Paper, Set Toner Again" error appears after a paper jam. Please unplug the machine from the wall and remove the toner cartridge. Looking inside the machine, please verify that there is no paper inside the machine. It may be a very small piece of paper.
If you are still unable to see any paper in the machine, I recommend that you contact us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) for further assistance.
