Printer complains of paper jam. Error code 1300

I have the same problem with an MG4250 (error code 1303).

Unfortunately I cannot find anyway  to run any of the cleaning routines etc. as the machine just locks up whilst the error message is displayed 😞

Have you had any luck resolving the issue, I'm on the verge of office spacing this thing....

The only unhelpful reply response I can give is that I switched it on after leaving it in the garage for a couple of months only for it to work without an error message.
