I have PIXMA 2522 printer and I use a USB cord to print from my MacBook. It is now saying that the printer is offline and not connected but it is connected and I checked the cords multiple times. I do not have another cord to check it is the cord that is the problem. What should I do?

Hi Chelsea
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
1. Open System Preferences.
2. Open Print and Fax under Hardware.
3. Highlight any PIXMA 2522 and click the <-> to remove it. Repeat until all PIXMA PIXMA 2522 are removed.
4. Click the <+> to add a printer.
