imageCLASS LBP122dw frozen during update

LBP122dw printer froze during update, cannot escape, connected USB, downloaded Canon application for Windows and update.  Started program, shows no printer connected.  How do I resolve this?  Thanks..

If updating the driver does not resolve the issue, try reinstalling the printer:

1. Remove the Printer:
   • Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
   • Select your printer and choose Remove device. 
   • Open Control panel go to programs and features, uninstall Canon drivers. 
   • Reinstall printer using the master setup driver here: https://pdisp01.c-wss.com/gdl/WWUFORedirectTarget.do?id=MDEwMDAxMjE1NTA0&cmp=ABR&lang=EN

2. Add the Printer Again:

   • Restart your computer.
   • Allow Windows to detect and install the printer.
   • Go back to printers and scanners and see if your printer now appears. 
   • Print a test page

Tried this multiple times.   The printer does not appear anywhere...
