Hi,
I recently switched to a Pixma TS6220 and I no longer get a dialogue box to control color settings when I'm printing from Photoshop Elements. My last printer was a Canon too (a Pixma but I don't remember the model number) and I did get the box with that. I can't figure out if there is a way to set the color settings right from the printer--I'd prefer it how it was! I checked with Adobe and they said it is a printer issue. Thank, any help appreciated.

Hi jill1.
Options when printing are partly affected by the drivers used. Is the computer using a version of Windows, or Mac OS?
If your computer is running on Mac OS, then it's possible that your old printer used drivers developed by Canon, while the TS6220 was developed to instead use Apple's Airprint drivers (explaining the difference in print options).
