My printer will not stay connected, it is a wi-fi connection. I get it going again and then same problem. This is a very unreliable product. Any fix ideas or junk it?

I am having the same issue. I have to turn my printer off and then on to get it to print wirelessly....every time there is a pause in printing jobs. If I am doing several different print jobs back to back, I don't have an issue. If there is longer than a 5 min pause, I have to turn the printer off then on again to get it to register. Very annoying. I'm curious if Canon can offer a solution. I am operating Windows 7.
