Print head not installed erro

Have MP970 printer.Getting print head not installed error. Already reinserted print head as other forums suggest. No changed and getting the same error message and yellow light when turn printer on.  What...if anything can I do to fix this problem aside from buying a new printer or new print head?  TIA

If removing and reseating the ink tanks and print head in the printer, as well as resetting the printer did not resolve the error, the printer will require servicing.  Please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page to obtain your servicing options.
