Hi,
I have a Canon Pixma MG6470 black multi fuction printer that is just over 12 months old (still looks brand new as has been covered) but has only printed approximately 350 sheets of standard text pages.
When turning on the machine I am now receiving the message: Type of Print Head incorrect. Please install correct print head.
I have tried removing and replacing but to no avail. The message reappears and I cannot use the machine at all.
I am extremely disappointed with this as it has done so little printing and yet seems to have failed. Please can anyone provide help and input as to what my next steps should be. I am considering posting this on my wider internet networks to let everyone know how disappointed I am with this printer.
Thanks

On the the bottom of the print head where it sits down in the front theres 3 pads, clean the area where that sits down, it worked for me and I tried all those other fixes.
