printer suddenely started skipping lines - like print 4 lines, with top and bottom of the four weak, lines in the middle dark, then blank space the equivalent of 4 lines, etc all the way down the page. Pulled out the head and cleaned but not better, and because the middle lines that are actually printing are fine, I dont think it is a plugged head, more like an electronic issue?

Hi Jpanon,
Let's start by installing the most current drivers. The latest drivers are available for free download from the Canon website HERE.

Thanks BillS,
Forgot to mention in my help request that downloading the latest drivers was the first thing I did, just in case the old ones had corrupted.
