Pixma iP4820 is blinking green and orange alternately

My Canon Pixma iP4820 stoppped printing in the middle of a print job and said it was offline.  I followed the troubleshooting steps of disconnecting power and USB and restarting.  I also tried a different USB cable.  It now just blinks the orange and green lights alternately when it comes on.
