Pixma g620 stopped printing on glossy photo paper

I have a relatively new Pixma g620 that was printing fine on glossy photo paper. After about 15 sheets of paper, it fed the next sheet through without printing anything on it. After many attempts, I tried printing on plain paper and it worked fine. How can I get it to print on photo paper again?

Follow up: It looks like the issue is unique to printing in Inkscape. It would be lovely if someone on this forum has a suggestion, however, I understand if not.
