Pixma g4200 skips lines of text

I have had a reliable experience with my G4200 printer until recently, when it started to skip entire lines of text when printing.

I have tried several approaches to fix this issue:

nozzle check (black is missing the middle portion)

cleaning and deep cleaning

head alignment

cleaned the encoder strip

roller cleaning

bottom cleaning

system cleaning

Nothing seems to work. Please help. Thank you!

If this is not a problem with ink delivery / clogged , mis-aligned or defective printhead, I would suggest you have a look at he printers timing strip.

Thanks, the timing strip is the same as the encoder strip, which I cleaned. What is the fix for a faulty print head?

Greetings,

This is a ink delivery issue.  The timing strip would apply if there were ghosting, or mis-aligned characters.  The complete absence of ink and confirmation that no black exists on the nozzle test pattern indicates a delivery issue.
