What exact model printer are you using (usually on the top or front of the unit)?
Was your ink purchased from Canon directly (at canon.com or by our phone sales)?
Can you post photos of the ink cartridges?
Which Computer Operating System are you using (Windows 7/8/10/11 or macOS 10/11/12)?
How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
Any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue.

Model Canon Pixma TS4500- New correct Ink cartridges from Canon tried twice- Printer bought via Amazon-Using Windows 10 -Connect via wifi- From new out of box when started Printer ink low alarms on both cartridges. Printer printed normal after many attempts. Every try to print same problem- low printer ink, black and color cartridges.
Bought new cartridges twice. Same problem. Cannot print color or black and white without error showing both cartridges empty.
Very Unhappy with unit and ready to ditch it for another brand.
