Pixma MX922 Screen is dark.


The Yellow Lightning bolt indicator light is illuminated and the Screen is dark on my Pixma MX 922. I've tried unplugging everthiing but that has done nothing.


It's almost as if it isn't getting power but the light is on. Any Ideas?

You can try plugging the printer into another outlet. If the lighting bolt indicator is still illuminated and the screen is dark, the printer has experienced a internal hardware failure.


If the printer is still in it's 1 year warranty and you have a copy of the proof of purchase, please call 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST they can replace the printer. 


If the printer is out of warranty, you qualify for the Canon Upgrade program.
