My MG7520 ran out of ink in a couple of colors so I replaced all the cartridges with genuine Canon cartridges.
Within a week the printer had emptied _all_ of the new cartridges, without significant printing.
The printer normally does a lot of whirring and clunking on startup, but now that is all it does. It will not print anything. Except, I could print a head alignment test page from the menu.
It is connected by USB, but wifi is on to allow printing from a phone.
The 7520 has alo recently been powering itself off and then complaining on powering on that it was shut down incorrectly.
Has anyone else seen this excessive ink consumption problem?
