Pixma MG5320 Colour cartridges depleting when using gray scale.

How is it possible for colour cartridges to deplete when the new Pixma MG5320 has been set to gray scale since day one!

Now the magenta requires a new cartridge!  No colour printing has been done!

Hello Sebastien.

Although Grayscale printing is enabled, the color cartridges may be used if you are printing graphics, photos or some web based items and PDF files.

Also, if automatic duplex printing is enabled a combination of the color inks would be used as well.

Please check the settings to ensure that automatic duplex printing is not enabled.  Also, make sure that your media type and paper size settings are set to plain and letter sized paper.
