I frequently have the problem that my printer will show it is in Offline status when it is turned on. I can diagnose and get get the problem solved but I'd like to solve the problem permanently.
I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop running Windows 7 Home Edition and have the printer connected via USB cable.
Any help is greatly appeciated.
Thanks.

Hi COgreywolf,
I would recommend removing the printer driver from the computer. Once the driver is removed, please restart your computer and unplug the usb cord from the printer.
When the computer restarts, please click HERE to open the printers support page and download the MG2522/MG2525 MP Drivers Ver.1.02. During the install you will be asked to connect the usb cord.
Once the printer is reinstalled, please try to print again to see if the offline message comes back.
