Hi, I have had this printer several years and always been great. I started getting error codes that there was a paper jam. I removed all paper and cleared everything out - no jam. Kept saying jammed. I did all the things required (roller head cleaning, head alignment, etc), nothing helped. Unplugged for a couple hours and now it's giving error code 1000 load paper into back tray. I have paper in the back tray. It's not wrinkled or anything strange. When I go to print, it does what it started to do when it said jammed, which is pull in the top sheet about 2 inches, stops, then errors out. I have tried everything, any tips!!?? THANK YOU!

Hi,
It sounds like an internal hardware issue with yourG4210. Since the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
You can take advantage of this offer by calling the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
