I have a Canon Pixma 5520. When printing in black ink, I noticed that the ink was printing only parts of the document. It had the appearance as if someone tried to move the paper while it was going through the roller (part of the letters printed and part didn't but this was only in several places of the document).
I then changed the ink out and now it won't print at all in black - only blue.
I did several of the troubleshooting steps including roller and print head cleaning/adjustment. I also notice that sometimes I go to print but the Mac (OS el Capitan) suddenly loses the WiFi connection and the printer won't connect at all. I look at the Canon Utility and see "printer offline". The remedy is to rejoin the netwwork and re-enter the network password.
Please advise.
