I have had exactly the same issue.  I had a difficult time installing the printer to begin with, and then just printing the first document was near impossible.  Printing stopped part way through the document and the only way to complete it was to send one page to the printer at a time, then the printer would only print 2/3 of the page.  Very frustrated!

Hi meredith14mc,

If you are using the printer wirelessly, you will want to ensure that the printer has proper wireless communication occurring to try and resolve the issue.  For proper wireless communication to occur, it is important that network devices are suitably located.  Please ensure the following:

1. The access point is located indoors within the effective range for wireless communication. Locate the printer within 50 meters of the access point, preferably as close as you can to the wireless access point.

2. There is no obstruction. Wireless communication between different rooms or floors is generally poor. Adjust the location of the devices.

3. There is no source of radio wave interference in your vicinity. There may be a device such as a microwave oven using the same frequency bandwidth as the wireless station. Place the wireless devices as far away from the interference source as possible.

Hi tavc,

If you have already performed print head alignments and cleanings on the unit to no avail, cleaning the encoder film on the printer may help.  To do this, please follow the steps located here.

Should you still experience difficulty, the printer may require servicing; please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page to obtain your servicing options.
