Pixma 3200 error code 1470

Hello,

I have a Pixma 3200 giving error code 1470, "cartridge not installed properly". This printer has no cartridges. What gives? I looked at the print head, and to my untrained eye, it looks okay.  I tilted it up the lids, saw nothing concerning, and closed the lids. I'm confused by the error code (this is an ink tank printer).and I don't see anything obviously wrong. Please advise.

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using.  We've made more than one PIXMA model with numbers in the 3200s in their name, so please let us know any letters in front of the number (such as MG, TS, TR, etc.) and what numbers follow it (like 3220, 3240, 3250, etc.). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
