Pixma 3120 scanner suddenly not working properly

Voila
Apprentice

I have a Macbook Pro and just downloaded the new El Capitan.  I couldn't get my wireless 3120 to print for a long time.  I downloaded the driver again, reset the wireless a dozen times, and fiddled around with it for days and finally got it to print!  I don't know what worked?

But when I go to use the scanner, it now asks me to select print area (didn't before) and the scan comes out about 1/8th the size of the document and very fuzzy, tho' it's set to pdf.  Any suggestions?  I didn't have to download any additional applications before to get it to work.

Hello.

Check to make sure that the MP Navigator program is being used to scan.  This program is available for download on our website.
