PiXMA 2922 yellow light

I can not get my yellow light to go off. The printers green light will come on when I press the power button but can not cut it back off. I have tried all kinds of button sequences but nothing. I have put new ink in the printer and the ink holder would not even move over to the middle, I had to myself. Would this printer be done or is there anything I could do?

When your MG2922 is powered on, does the yellow light blink?  If so, how many times does it blink before there is a pause?

Does the green light blink as well?
