I have a PIXMA-810 scanner/printer from long ago that I'd like to use now with my current MacBook Air laptop (MacOS Big Sur v.11.6). Support indicates that there is no downloadable driver for my OS. However, I do have the original CD-ROM driver installer, and I have a friend who can loan me a CD-ROM extension/device for my Mac that would allow me to try to install the driver to this laptop. Does anyone have any idea of whether or not this driver would work on my Macbook with the OS version I have? I'd like to keep using this scanner, as it is still in great shape. The previous laptop that I used to use with this scanner is kaput. Otherwise I would be using that one ....
Thanks for any input.
Mike
