Hello, I am printing from Lightroom and photoshop, I currently have Mac OS 13.1 Ventura, I have the latest Drivers for my IP8720 - Version 2.8.2 (2.8.2) When I launch the Printing options from these software's is not showing my any advanced options when I go to print set up and then pint settings.

I am reading the manual instructions and I should be able to manage color, cast etc from the printing settings, Is not showing me the same printing settings I see on the manual instructions.

Same thing happens If I open printing settings from anything I want to print (a photo, a PDF, a document, etc) very basic options. Please helo me or guide me.

Settings I would like to see.pngSetttings availabe opening any file.png

You need to install this driver.

I re installed,

I close out Ph and Lightroom, open printing preferences and still shows the same:Snip20230121_7.png

Did you add the printer in System Settings->Printers & Scanners?

It shows the printer, (that I have been using for a while)

As I suspected, it shows Driver 3.0, which is the Apple AirPrint driver. That is why you aren’t seeing all the Canon driver settings.

You need to go back into Printers & Scanners, select the plus button and wait for the Canon IJ Series driver to appear. It could take several minutes. Once you get that printer installed (the driver ID will be the number on the website) I suggest you delete the AirPrint version.

oh great, sounds like that is it!

would you please send me a screen shot of the "plus" sign I need to click and also, how to remove the 3.0 air version?

It's been awhile since I added primers, so the interface in ventura has changed.

Select the "Add printer" button:

Then select your AirPrint printer and select the "Remove" button:
