PIXMA TS6420a Skyink ink cartridges suddenly incompatible

I use Skyink ink cartridges for the printer. I printed something on Sunday, but today I get an error message that appropriate ink cartridges are not installed. I have used Skyink for over a year. Why is there a sudden incompatibality?

Canon (and the same is true for all printer vendors) only supports compatibility with their own cartridges and has no obligation to support third-party ink.  I suggest that you reach out to Skyink for a resolution, not Canon.  As this is a social media site and I do not work for Canon I'm only speaking as a user, and not for Canon.

>> Owns/Owned both Canon EOS mirrorless full-frame and APS-C cameras and associated RF, RF-S and EF adapted lenses - inventory tends to change on short notice. Same for flashes, tripods, bags, straps, etc.
Plus>> Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Printer. My photos are edited using Canon Photo Professional and no Adobe products.
>>The opinions and assistance are my own. Please don't blame Canon for any mistakes on my part.

Greetings,

3rd party inks and toners are often not manufactured to the same standards as OEM.  Quality, consistency and reliability can vary.  Canon doesn't do anything to stop you from using third-party inks, but compatibility can be hit or miss.  Hopefully skyink can address the problem for you.
