PIXMA TS3722: Print jam but no jam

ailurophile62

I ran out of paper during a print job. I've got a steady amber light and an error code of E03. I hit the OK button. I turned off the printer. I unplugged the printer. I rebooted the Windows 11 PC. A message says I've got a paper jam, but there's no paper jam. The ink cartridges don't move when I open the door. I tried the maintenance utility and got this message:

"The process could not be performed.

Check that the printer is connected to the computer and the power is on. If the printer is in use, wait until it is finished and try again. If an error has occurred on the printer, clear the error and try again."

Hi ailurophile62,

To resolve the E 0 3 error that you are experiencing with your PIXMA TS3722, please follow these steps:

1.  Please remove all of the paper from your TS3722 and then please disconnect the power cord.

2.  Once done, please look down through the paper path to check for jammed paper / foreign objects.

3.  Next, please open the front cover and look in the area around the ink for jammed paper / foreign objects, making sure to look in the extreme left and right sides.

4.  Please reconnect the power cord and turn your printer back on.

5.  Does "0" appear in the upper right corner of your printer's display?  If so, please continue.

6.  Repeatedly press the wrench and screwdriver button until 7 appears on your printer's display.

7.  Press the Color Start button 1 time.  Your printer will start making noise.

8.  When the noises stop, insert 1 sheet of paper into your printer.

9.  Press the Color Start button 1 time.

Did the paper feed through your printer?  If not, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:
