PIXMA TS3640 Cartridge lock levers stiff or jammed

Hello,  I just bought PIXMA TS3640, I'm trying to lower the cartridge lock levers but they seem to be stiff or jammed, so I can't push them down to be able to insert the ink cartridges. 

And I also see the orange error light.

Please help, thanks.

Power the printer up, make sure the printer carriage moves to the center position or you cannot unlock the ink slots.
