PIXMA TS3522 - sends paper thru without printing

ChrisVG

I have a TS3522 printer.  When I tried printing, the printer just sent the paper through without printing.  I haven't had this problem before and it's very frustrating.  I was going to try to get technical support, but I don't like that Canon will charge $20 to talk to an agent.

Thanks for any assistance.

Greetings,

Let's start from the beginning:

What is the version and build of the OS you're using the printer with?

How is the printer connected and to what?

Did you install printer drivers? If so, which?

You can use this for reference:

Canon Support for PIXMA TS3522 | Canon U.S.A., Inc. https://share.google/YCQDSbjVaU13PQ2X6

You're issue sounds like a software or drivers issue.  Has something changed in your environment?  Typically things don't stop working on their own.

Thank you, Rick! It was a problem with the drivers.  Apparently I had to download it/them to Windows 11, which I did, and the printer is working perfectly now (I am very challenged when it comes to technology).  Anyway, I am very thankful that you read my post and that you were able to help - you are a lifesaver!  Thanks again!!!

@ChrisVG,

Very pleased to hear this.  Thanks for the feedback.  🙂

I have an identical problem with my PIXMA G4210 printer that I use with an iMac computer. Text is shown on the Print screen and paper runs through printer but is blank. Printed OK two days ago and I Can't think of any changes made since then. I did try exporting to a PDF, and it did print a page but with a strange font. I will follow suggestions about driver–if I know what i am doing.
