I had just supposedly installed the printer with a USB cable connection, and it won't print on my Windows 11 PC from the print dialogue, though the printer showed up on the menu. But no print queue could be found.
This is the second printer I've had that has been troublesome with a USB connection on Windows 11. What is the problem with USB connections and Windows 11, which I deeply regret installing?

I fixed it by removing and reinstalling the printer from scratch by going to the web site on the affected computer. The instructions should have emphasized to go to the web site on the device you will be using.
Then it printed, except for PDF documents, which got hung up by an arcane PDF setting. To fix that in the Adobe reader, I had to go to: MENU > Preferences . Security (enhanced), and UNCHECK "Enable Protected Mode at startup" right on top of the page. Now it prints. About to see if it scans.
