PIXMA TS3522 black ink will not dry after 48 hours

I currently have the TS3522 series printer. I am using the 100 pages per month plan for ink. However, i have noticed when printing on glossy photo paper (8.5x11) the black ink never dries. After 48 hours, i can rub off all of the black ink on the print. However, all the color ink dries immedicably and stays on. Its only the black ink that comes off.

In the attached image, notice the black rubs off but not the color. I need this fixed ASAP as we use this printer for business and we cant have the ink rub off. This is after 48 hors of allowing it to dry.....

I also tried to switch the paper type to photo paper but there are ZERO options for 8.5 by 11 inch paper.. Only had 6x4 option which is ridiculous for 2023 printer. I would expect that of a 1980s printer but not a modern printer at all.

Are you using Canon brand ink?

Y3s, as stated in my original post, i am doing the $6 a month plan from canon for ink. They mail me the ink once a month.

also, just did a nozzle check and same issue. It smears and spreads for just the black ink.

So does the black dye come from the color cartridge mixing the color?

canon sends me the PG275PPP black ink each month. This is the only one my printer will take, so how am i supposed to print photos that contain black if the ONLY blakc ink that works on this printer is a pigment???

You should give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
